Although we strongly recommend that you feed you pet a premium diet that is made for the life stage and health conditions of you pet we understand that you may want to prepare a diet at home for you pet.  If this is your choice we encourage you to take the extra step to make sure that what you are feeding is going to offer your pet the best nutritional value.  The following web sites help you prepare a balanced and nutritional diet using common ingredients.  The formulas do cost a small fee but it will be worth it to you and your pet in the long run.
